Urban Areas

In urban areas of Pakistan, both a quake and a registered doctor are in practice. Quakes are famous in poor community and Doctors are famous in elite class. But due to high literacy rate in cities with comparison to rural areas, most people prefer a doctor on a quake. In big cities there are hospitals which gives services on cheap rates. Government Hospitals are also working. Educated person gets his treatment from these hospitals on cheap rates.

All technologies have been adopted by the dentists of Pakistan.

Rural Areas

In rural areas of Pakistan there is no hospital and no private clinic for dental patients. Poor people cant afford the fee of a doctor who practices in city. So they are forced to be treated by a quake or a denturist. As dental instruments are of more cost, quakes use a single instrument throughout their life on hundreds of people. Diseases like AIDS and CANCER then transmitted by these instruments in many patients, and further in whole community.

Dark Aspects

  Pakistan is a developing country and the rate of literacy in Pakistan is only 57% (2009).  As far as dentistry is related except some cities, people don’t know about the dental treatments.

  Dental health is very important for everyone but most of the time people don’t even think about it. A poor and uneducated person usually goes to quakes, who even don’t know about the disinfectants and sterilization of instruments. It is the main cause of spread of diseases among community. It is due to absence of public education in Pakistan. 

  Quackery is much more famous in Pakistan.  An uneducated quake plays with the life of every person who visits his shop. Same instrument is used for every person.
